I’m running for Congress because the families in Virginia's 8th Congressional District deserve a passionate, progressive advocate. It has been my privilege to serve the people of the 46th District in the House of Delegates, and I am proud of my work to ensure that our voices were heard by fighting for women’s rights, protecting our most vulnerable neighbors, and safeguarding our region’s natural beauty and resources.
If elected, I will continue the good works of Congressman Jim Moran to foster the economic development of Northern Virginia, address the needs of our veterans, work for access to affordable healthcare, and protect the privacy of a woman and her healthcare decisions.
We’ve accomplished a great deal together, but there is much to be done to ensure that our hard working Northern Virginia families have the opportunities they need. I look forward to hearing from you about your ideas to make our community safer and stronger, and I hope I’ll be able to earn your support in my bid for the 8th Congressional District.
